Colodny Fass”Capitol to Courthouse” Insurance Newsletter Publisher Jennifer J.H. Pierce Named Among Broward’s ‘100 Outstanding Women’

Colodny Fass Director of Marketing Jennifer J.H. Pierce, who publishes the Firm’s popular insurance newsletter, “From the Capitol to the Courthouse” was recognized last night, May 16, 2012, by the Broward County Boys and Girls Club as one of Broward’s 100 Outstanding Women.”  Nearly 1,500 were in attendance at the event, which honored local elected officials, judges and corporate executives, among others.

“Throughout the country, the Boys and Girls Club has earned recognition as being ‘the Positive Place for Kids’,” explained Ms. Pierce, a former three-term Board member of the Hollywood, Florida Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors, to which she lent her consultation in creating that organization’s own newsletter.  “To support that mission on behalf of Colodny Fass is very meaningful.” 

Ms. Pierce, who specializes in public relations issue campaigns relating to legislative matters, has extensive experience in multiple communications disciplines and a successful track record of strategic business relationship development in the public, private and non-profit sectors. 

For Colodny Fass, a Ft. Lauderdale-based law and governmental consulting firm, she handles corporate communications, legislative and regulatory affairs, public relations and marketing.

Twice named by South Florida Business Journal as an “Up and Comer” finalist and as a “Woman of the Year” finalist by the South Florida Women in Communications Chapter, Ms. Pierce has assumed leadership roles in a wide variety of community and civic organizations throughout South Florida, including the Boards of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber, Miramar-Pembroke Pines Chamber, Volunteer Broward, Winterfest Boat Parade, United Way of Broward County, Super Bowl and Breeders’ Cup Host Committees, the Greater Miami Chamber’s Sports Council and Legislative Package Committees, Broward Alliance and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Advertising Federation, among others.
