Colodny Fass Veteran Lawyer Joel Fass Inducted into Litigation Counsel of America

Joel S. Fass, a Shareholder with the law and governmental consulting firm of Colodny Fass, has been formally inducted into the Litigation Counsel of America (“LCA”), a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.
Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Inductees are selected based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.
Mr. Fass practices in the areas of commercial litigation, personal injury, civil rights and regulatory law. Licensed to practice in both Florida and New York, he is licensed to practice law in state and federal, trial and appellate courts, as well as the United States Supreme Court.
A co-founder of the Firm with Mike Colodny in 1974, Mr. Fass has served as a special prosecutor for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. He also has represented the Florida Marine Patrol, Florida Highway Patrol, Florida Department of Transportation, Florida Department of Insurance and the cities of North Lauderdale and Coral Springs.
Mr. Fass earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the State University of New York (“SUNY”) at New Paltz. He received his Juris Doctor at SUNY Buffalo Law School.
