Colodny Fass attorney Jeff Wank elected to Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Section for Broward County

Attorney Jeffrey M. Wank, an associate in the Litigation Division at the Fort Lauderdale law firm Colodny Fass, was recently elected to the Board of Directors for The Young Lawyers Section (“YLS”) of the Broward County Bar Association. In this role, Mr. Wank will be responsible for reaching out to new attorneys who have been sworn into the Florida Bar to increase awareness of the organization and its many benefits for young lawyers.
In addition to serving on the board of directors, Mr. Wank also plans to assist in events that have made the YLS a success in the past, including the annual charity golf tournament held in the fall. The goal of the YLS is to involve attorneys with the Broward County Bar Association, and to promote professional and social understanding and cooperation among the Broward County legal community. The group focuses on the educational and professional advancement of attorneys, particularly those under age 36, while also contributing to the betterment of the local community through charity functions and projects.
As an associate with Colodny Fass, Mr. Wank concentrates his practice on first-party insurance defense claims and personal injury law. Prior to joining the Firm, he litigated personal injury, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home liability, homeowner and condominium association claims and construction defect cases. Along with his legal work, he is passionate about mentoring. He previously volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem and has also served as a youth sports coach and law school student advisor.
A member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Wank earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, where he was an active board member of Moot Court Society and heavily involved in the Student Bar Association. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida State University.
