Colodny Fass Shareholders All Named Super Lawyers

Florida Super Lawyer Magazine, an annual publication recognizing the top attorneys in Florida, has named all Colodny Fass shareholders as “Super Lawyers®.”
Mike Colodny, Joel Fass and Maria Elena Abate were selected as 2008 Super Lawyers through a process of peer nominations, in which participating attorneys are asked to nominate their choice for Florida’s best lawyers based on individuals they have observed in action firsthand.
Mike Colodny has more than 35 years of legal experience in governmental, transactional and corporate matters, insurance regulatory work and representation before government agencies and quasi-judicial public boards and commissions.
Joel S. Fass, known as a skilled litigator, negotiator and client advocate, practices in the areas of commercial litigation and civil rights. He also has served as a special prosecutor and counsel for various governmental entities.
Maria Elena Abate is known for her expertise in the areas of civil rights claims, class action litigation, governmental affairs, insurance matters and cases dealing with discrimination, constitutional violations, employment and health-care issues.
