Citizens Property Insurance 2013 Commercial and Personal Depopulation Calendars Now Available

Citizens Property Insurance Corporation (“Citizens”) announced via e-mail today, December 20, 2012, that the 2013 Commercial and Personal Depopulation Calendars, as well as the 2013 Supplemental Calendar, are now available at Citizens’ Depopulation Information Web site.
The following changes were mentioned in the e-mail:
- The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (“OIR”) approval deadlines have been pushed forward beginning with the June 2013 assumption. This will provide insurers with more time to analyze the data prior to participating in an assumption.
- All assumption-related documents will be due on the same day.
- A new due date has been added to identify when the takeout company should send Wish Lists to agents, in accordance with OIR requirements.
