CFO to Announce Climate Change Action Plan

Florida Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) Alex Sink is scheduled to speak today, February 14, 2008, at the United Nations as part of a panel of leading institutional investors at an all-day conference entitled “Investor Summit on Climate Risk.”

CFO Sink will join her colleagues in presenting a “Climate Change Investor Action Plan” during a press conference scheduled today at 1:30 p.m.

Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink To Announce Climate Change Investor Action Plan On February 14

Investor Action Plan will be announced at the Investor Summit on Climate Risk at the United Nations 

NEW YORK, NY – Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink and other leading institutional investors will be announcing a climate change Investor Action Plan at a press conference at 1:30 p.m. ET on February 14, 2008, at the United Nations immediately following CFO Sink’s participation in a panel discussion, Factoring Climate Change into Institutional Investment Strategies.  
 
The press briefing is taking place during an all-day Investor Summit on Climate Risk at the UN, which will include 450 investors, Wall Street executives and CEOs representing over $10 trillion gathering to consider the risks and opportunities from climate change. The summit is a result of growing participation in the Investor Network on Climate Risk (INCR), an initiative organized by Ceres, which now includes more than 60 institutional investors with assets totaling more than $4.5 trillion.
