Florida Approves Removal of 71,000 Policies from Citizens for March Takeouts

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has approved the removal of up to 70,000 personal residential policies and 1,500 commercial residential polices from Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, Insurance Journal reports.


NORCAL Mutual Acquires Florida-Based FD Insurance

NORCAL Mutual Insurance Co. has completed its acquisition of FD Insurance, a Florida domiciled medical malpractice provider for physicians and surgeons.  This acquisition expands NORCAL’s national footprint and establishes Jacksonville, Florida as the company’s new Southeast regional office.


Random drawing decides Florida senators’ futures
