The Florida Cabinet met today, May 27, 2009, and considered several items related to the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund (“FHCF”). To view the complete meeting agenda, click here.
Florida State Board of Administration (“SBA”) Executive Director Ash Williams presented the following FHCF items, which were approved with no discussion:

Final adoption of Rule 19-8.028, F.A.C., FHCF Reimbursement Premium Formula, along with its incorporated forms.

Approval of an addendum to the 2009/2010 FHCF Premium Formula and the 2009/2010 Rates upon HB 1495 becoming law.

Appointment of meteorologist Dr. Judith A. Curry to the FHCF Advisory Council.
