“My task is to revitalize and again make relevant the message and advocacy that Broward Days has delivered to our state’s leadership in Tallahassee for over a decade,” Mr. Colodny said.
“Broward Days’ foremost mission is to bring the message of our county’s vast resources and specific needs to Tallahassee, and to provide a productive forum in which our legislative and executive policymakers can see firsthand Broward’s massive economic and cultural development,” Mr. Colodny explained. “From the billions of dollars that flow through Port Everglades, Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and tourism industry, to our state-of-the-art education, health care and entertainment facilities, the ingredients are on the table for Broward Days to create new enthusiasm, build new constituencies and afford value to its new and long-term sponsors in delivering our message.”
“The steps that Broward now takes toward positive public policy depend even more than ever on the legislative and executive branch of Florida government,” Mr. Colodny said. “I am honored to have the opportunity to lead our Broward Days in driving this effort.”
With a 20-year history of advocacy, Broward Days is an independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan local, state and federal legislative advocacy organization serving the public policy needs of Broward County businesses and citizens.
