Broward Days Issues First Official Debate Invitation to Florida Democratic Governor’s Candidates Charlie Crist, Nan Rich

The Sun-Sentinel’s top Broward Political Reporter Anthony Mann reported this morning that Broward Days has issued the first formal invitation to Florida Democratic Governor’s Candidates Charlie Crist and Nan Rich to debate one another in Broward County.
Proposed on a date and format mutually acceptable to both candidates, the invitation was issued jointly by Broward Days, a non-partisan Broward County-based legislative advocacy organization, and Broward College, which has offered to host the event at its centrally located Bailey Concert Hall in the Town of Davie.
“The debate will give each candidate a chance to address their individual perspectives on the wide range of issues that affect Florida, as well as provide Floridians with an opportunity to learn more about the two candidates and their visions for the future,” Broward Days Chairman Mike Colodny said.
