Additional Changes Proposed to Hospital, Ambulatory Surgical Center Licensure Transparency, Billing Rules

Rulemaking has been ongoing since last fall for Rule 59A-5.032, F.A.C. and Rule 59A-5.032, F.A.C.–both entitled “Transparency and Billing.”
Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration opened the new Rules pursuant to 2016 statutory changes to s. 395.301, F.S.
Respective Notices of Change were posted yesterday, June 21, 2017, for each proposed Rule after the comment period had been extended earlier this year.
