Rebecca LoPresti is an associate in the litigation practice group at Colodny Fass, where she focuses on first-party property insurance litigation and related insurance defense matters.
Rebecca began her legal career in the general liability and property insurance practice at a regional insurance defense firm, where she defended insurance carriers and insureds in matters involving construction defects, product liability, and complex insurance claims. For several years, her practice has been concentrated on defending insurers in first-party property disputes.
She has served as second chair trial counsel in a wind-related property damage case that resulted in a complete defense verdict. Rebecca brings a strong understanding of Florida insurance statutes and has successfully obtained dismissals in matters involving invalid assignments of benefits.
Rebecca earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where she served as a Senior Associate of the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University and is a member of The Florida Bar.
