Christopher Clayton-Burns is an attorney in the litigation practice group at Colodny Fass focusing primarily on first party property insurance defense. Prior to joining Colodny Fass, Mr. Clayton-Burns worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County where he managed criminal cases, both misdemeanors and felonies, from the prefiling stage through trial or plea. 

Mr. Clayton-Burns attended Florida State University for undergrad where he received his Bachelor of Science in Criminology. He continued his education by attending Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate. During his time in law school, Mr. Clayton-Burns was a member in several organizations namely The Black Law Student’s Association, Criminal Law Society and NSU Trial Association. Additionally, Mr. Clayton-Burns was honored to receive multiple Dean’s List awards in recognition of his academic success. Mr. Clayton-Burns is the first member of his family to attend law school and become a licensed attorney in the State of Florida. 

In his free time, Mr. Clayton-Burns loves to play video games, cook, and watch movies.
