Christina Varghese, Partner, is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Practice. She brings vast experience from working for law firms heading up employment and labor law practice groups. In addition, she was former in-house counsel for Aflac and the San Diego Zoo Global, and former HR director of Diversity, Employee Engagement and Advice and Counsel for Aflac. She is also a certified John Maxwell speaker and coach. She brings legal and business perspective in her consultation to her clients on employment law and diversity matters.
Ms. Varghese has experience advising clients on employment law related issues including consulting on business continuity strategy, enforceability of restrictive covenants, and drafting employment agreements. She also has significant experience counseling on employment and labor laws across the country (Title VII, FMLA, NLRA, ADA, FLSA, ADEA, WARN and OSHA) and related matters (executive compensation, leaves, terminations, reductions in force, wage and hour, performance management, data privacy, workplace investigations and employee relation issues) and managing employment litigation.
Christina Varghese received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida in 1997 and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2000.
As diversity consultant for the firm, Christina Varghese also brings her leadership experience in consulting law firms and businesses on how to bring firms and businesses to the next level and why diversity is critical to firm and corporate success.
